Giovanni Rosso
Azienda Agricola Giovanni Rosso is a small, family-owned company in the heart of the Barolo commune of Serralunga d’Alba. They specialize in red wines, and the passion lies in Barolo and its great grape, Nebbiolo. The Rosso family has been farming the vineyards since the 1890s, notably the Crus of Cerretta, La Serra, Broglio, Meriam, Sorano, Costa Bella, and Lirano & Damiano.
The vineyards were later restructured in the early 1980s by Giovanni Rosso to grow the best fruits. His son Davide, an expert oenologist now runs the vineyards intending to produce wines that are a perfect copy of the terroir.
