- Tasting Notes: Given the strength and structure of the wine, the family decided to use the name Mazzaferrata (mace) to evoke the family's warrior origins. A Super Tuscan done in the mountain, rich and intense as it is expected from a Cabernet Sauvignon, but elegant, as the mountain weather gives finesse to the wine. Balsamic hints, chocolate... good complexity. Very balanced and smooth, nicely persistent. Very good value for money.
