Tasting Notes
Named after La Cala Viola, one of the loveliest stretches of the Alghero coast. From lime-and-clay soils swept by salt-laden mistral winds. Scents of Mediterranean maquis, citrus fruit and white flowers give way to a lively mineral note. Fresh and savoury on the palate, surprisingly soft and balanced, persisting long with fine fruity aromas and an iodine hint. Soft pressing and cold settling, then fermentation at a controlled 18 Β°C in stainless steel β 90 Points Wine Enthusiast.
